Dionysis Grammenos has been selected by David Zinman to work with him and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich from May 19th to 21st. Repertoire includes Bernstein’s ‘Symphonic Dances from West Side Story’, Beethoven’s Egmont, Elgar’s ‘In the South’ and Strauss’ Oboe Conerto.

This September, Dionysis Grammenos returns to the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto to work with Johannes Debus on a production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. The production, originally created by Robert Carsen for the Metropolitan Opera, New York, features Joyce El-Khoury as Tatiana and Canadian baritone Gordon Bintner as Onegin. It has been a great honour for Grammenos to conduct the New Year’s Concert of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, at the presence of her Excellency Mary Louise Coleiro Preca, President of Malta.
