David Zinman selects Grammenos to conduct the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich at his annual masterclass
Dionysis Grammenos has been selected by David Zinman to work with him and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich from May 19th to 21st. Repertoire includes Bernstein’s ‘Symphonic Dances from West Side Story’, Beethoven’s Egmont, Elgar’s ‘In the South’ and Strauss’ Oboe Conerto.
Grammenos returns to the Canadian Opera Company for Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin
This September, Dionysis Grammenos returns to the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto to work with Johannes Debus on a production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. The production, originally created by Robert Carsen for the Metropolitan Opera, New York, features Joyce El-Khoury as Tatiana and Canadian baritone Gordon Bintner as Onegin.
