First Greek conductor chosen for the Aspen Music Festival

Dionysis Grammenos is the first Greek who will participate as conductor at the American Academy of Conducting of the Aspen Music Festival in 2016.  Festival Director Robert Spano, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Music Director and winner of  6 Grammy awards, chose Dionysis out of hundreds of musicians from around the world for this honor. The Aspen Festival in Colorado is the largest classical music festival in the U.S. and annually hosts more than 300 concerts with the biggest names in classical music.
