After a long period of absence due to the COVID pandemic, Grammenos returns on stage at the wonderful hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin to perform at the opening concert of the Young Euro Classic. Dionysis Grammenos has been selected by David Zinman to work with him and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich from May 19th to 21st. Repertoire includes Bernstein’s ‘Symphonic Dances from West Side Story’, Beethoven’s Egmont, Elgar’s ‘In the South’ and Strauss’ Oboe Conerto.

This September, Dionysis Grammenos returns to the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto to work with Johannes Debus on a production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. The production, originally created by Robert Carsen for the Metropolitan Opera, New York, features Joyce El-Khoury as Tatiana and Canadian baritone Gordon Bintner as Onegin.
